The Outpouring of the Anointing!

This was our first prophetic painting which was done at our church’s New Year’s Eve worship years back when I never dreamed I would be doing something like this in the near future. I am glad my husband and I took courage to step out of our comfort zones and invest our talents into the Lord’s work.

The jar pouring out the oil represents the anointing that flows from the Lord upon His people. The oil I am referring to is the kind that was used for blessing someone and ordaining them as kings or priests in biblical times. This oil is also the kind that was applied over the sick and praying over them. Essential oils are supposedly known to bring many health benefits. There are massaging oils that are used in many countries for relieving stress and rejuvenating body and mind.

This painting may have different messages for different people as the Lord ordains. There may be that someone out there who needs that special oil from my Lord Jesus to rejuvenate his/her mind, body, and/or spirit. Hope this painting touches you today. Be Blessed!

About anointedartist

I am a free-spirited person who enjoys the little things in life as much as the big ones that cross my path. As wife and mother of two wonderful kids, I have learned to take into stride the joys and pains of nurturing my family with laughter and tears. From being a stay-at-home mom for a long time, I have now extended my arms into the community to envelope kids with special needs and work with them. My soul takes delight in creating pieces of art in the form of pottery, card-making, crafting, knitting, crocheting, and list goes on. My long-standing wish to learn pottery-making took form and I have made quite a few interesting projects and love them. I also do prophetic arts (painting) along with my husband at our church during worship now and then and enjoy it. I believe that most of my inspirations come for my Creator and I am just being instrumental in revealing it to others. I feel honored to be used as His anointed vessel to display the creativity He has invested in me.
